“Beat the Heat Giveaway” promises second-chance prize winners up to $1,000 times the highest temperature each week! The hotter the temperature, the higher the prizes!
PHOENIX (July 1, 2019) – Beginning July 1st, Arizona Lottery players can stop loathing the triple-digit heat and start loving it as the Lottery’s month-long “Beat the Heat Giveaway” second-chance promotion will have everyone watching the weather report a little more closely, while temperatures, and prizes, rise.

A host of heat-themed Scratchers® and a Fast Play™ ticket, ranging from $1 to $10, give players a chance to win top prizes of up to $100,000, but that’s not the hottest part. Four weekly drawings will be held to award three winners either $10X, $100X or $1,000X the highest temperature recorded in each week of the promotion (July 1 – July 31). So if that week’s high is 110 degrees, the second chance prizes will range from $1,100, $11,000 to a very hot $110,000!
Here’s how it works: Lottery players can enter their eligible, non-winning tickets into the Beat the Heat Giveaway by visiting AZPlayersClub.com, or by scanning their tickets using the Arizona Lottery Players Club mobile app (available for download on the iTunes® App store and the Google Play™ store) for a chance to win. $1 tickets will receive one entry into the promotion, $2 tickets will receive two entries, $5 tickets will receive five entries and $10 tickets will receive ten entries.

Arizona Lottery players can purchase Scratchers and Fast Play tickets that are eligible for the Beat the Heat Giveaway, as well as all other Arizona Lottery products, at all 3,000+ Arizona Lottery retail locations.
