Major Draw Game updates launch statewide, featuring improved odds, new daily drawings, and bigger ways to win
PHOENIX (June 9, 2026) – The Arizona Lottery is celebrating 45 years of winning with a historic, multi-million-dollar thank you. To mark this milestone anniversary and the biggest upgrade to the game since its launch in 1984, a massive $4.5 million is being added directly to The Pick™ jackpot for the upcoming June 17 drawing.
The special anniversary jackpot boost follows the launch of new and updated Draw Games, designed to deliver more excitement, better odds and more frequent drawings for players across the state. These upgrades are launching on June 14 and will include the addition of a built in multiplier and The Pick Plus™ for The Pick, more daily opportunities to play Pick 3™, the launch of Pick 4 and the addition of Powerball® Double Play®.
“For 45 years, Arizona Lottery players have been at the heart of our mission,” said Alec Thomson, Executive Director of the Arizona Lottery. “This $4.5 million jackpot boost is our way of saying thank you and offer players a chance to celebrate 45 years of investing in a stronger Arizona. . The Pick has been a favorite for generations of Arizonans, and adding to the jackpot is a fitting way to mark this milestone and get players excited about the updated game.”
The upgrades to The Pick features improved overall odds of 1 in 30, alongside a built-in multiplier of up to 5X for non-jackpot prizes for just $2 per play. These changes pave the way for bigger payouts and faster-rolling jackpots on Arizona's flagship game.
Alongside the upgraded The Pick game, players will also have access to The Pick Plus, a new $1 add-on played separately from The Pick’s nightly drawing. This instant-style game prints on a separate ticket and gives players a chance to win cash prizes on the spot.
Pick 3 is adding a midday drawing, giving players two daily drawing opportunities, with the addition of a 12:05 p.m. drawing before the regular 7:05 p.m. drawing which remains unchanged.
Joining the lineup is Pick 4, a new $1 game where players choose four numbers between zero and nine. Drawings will be held twice daily at 12:05 p.m. and 7:05 p.m. The game operates similarly to Pick 3, but gives players a wider variety of play options, including:
- Straight
- Box
- Straight/Box
- Front Pair
- Mid Pair
- Back Pair
Additionally, Powerball Double Play makes its debut in Arizona for an extra $1, allowing players to enter their existing Powerball numbers into a secondary drawing held immediately after the main drawing. This exciting addition features a top prize of $10 million, along with secondary prizes ranging from $7 to $500,000.
Together, the $4.5 million jackpot boost, upgraded favorites, new games, improved odds and added play options mark one of the Arizona Lottery’s most significant Draw Games updates in recent history.
